This impromptu session at Sunset Cliffs in San Diego, California was so much fun! Anna & Mica had just finished their 8 day road trip from Michigan to California and stopped at Sunset Cliffs to take in the view and celebrate the end of a long drive. I spotted them sitting on the edge of the cliffs and just HAD to ask them if I could take their photos! As an LGBTQ+ San Diego wedding photographer, I’m always doing my best to be as inclusive as possible to every kind of couple out there. If that means approaching the two women canoodling at Sunset Cliffs in leggings and water shoes, so be it!
I LOVE taking engagement photos at Sunset Cliffs. The views are always spectacular – they don’t call it Sunset Cliffs for nothing. The area spans a good chunk of the La Jolla coast, so don’t feel deterred by the crowds! There are always great spots with less people if you don’t mind looking around a bit.
I’m proud to be an LGBTQ+ wedding photographer in San Diego! I get to meet so many couples who see themselves in my brand because of how inclusive my work is. I never want any couple to feel they aren’t wanted or welcome because they don’t see themselves represented in someone’s brand or their work.
