FAQ

unlike you, i do this every weekend.
There's no such thing as a stupid question, I've heard them all!

Do we need a second shooter?
What's the point of having one?

I get this question a lot! So, if your wedding is over 100 guests, I'd say you need a second shooter. They're great for a bunch of reasons:

- I don't have to run back and forth during getting ready photos before the ceremony to shoot both parties. Especially helpful since you're probably getting ready at separate locations!
- They're basically always mirroring what I'm doing. If I'm getting your partner's reaction to you walking down the aisle, they're getting yours. If I'm getting a wide shot of the ceremony, they're shooting close up. We work as a team, always mirroring each other so we get all the best moments.
- They can grab cocktail hour shots and reception details while I take all the family photos after the ceremony. Then, they'll come join us for couple's portraits.

I have a rolodex of a bunch of amazing photographers & videographers who I hire often to work with me at weddings. Trust me when I say they're worth it!

So, I don't really have a set number of photos I deliver. I just give you all the good ones. I usually deliver about 800 photos for an 8 hour wedding! Basically, unless the photo is out of focus, a duplicate, or just plain bad, it'll be in your private online gallery available for high-res download. You'll have access to an online store where you can order prints, albums, canvases - pretty much anything you want. As for posting them? I'll be upset if you DON'T! Tag me so I can see them, too!

How many photos do we get and how do we download them?
Can we print and post them?

I mean, I'm not here to tell you what to do, but like, yeah you need one. Engagement sessions are the BEST way for all of us to get to know each other before the wedding. Feel awkward in front of the camera? An engagement session will help you get comfortable with me and shake those nerves so you're all set come wedding day. Plus, who doesn't love cute pics? You can use them for your save the dates, invitations, social media posts, holiday cards...the list goes on and on.

We don’t need an engagement session, right?

Lucky for you, I know tons about weddings. Not sure how many hours of coverage you need? 8 is pretty standard, but just depends on what you want covered. Need help making a timeline? Lemme help ya, I have a really good one. Stressed about what package to book because you've never done this before? Chillllll, we can figure it out together! I won't try to sell you on anything you don't need. I'm here to help you out because, again, I do this every weekend.

Right when your first email hits my inbox, I'm in this with you.

We know nothing about weddings.
How can you help us?

Wanna hear something funny? Honestly, like 69% of the couples that reach out say the same thing. It's always something along the lines of, "We're not good at taking pictures so good luck lol." And I tell them everyyyy time, "You'll be fine, trust me!" because, not to brag or anything, I'm really good at what I do. My shooting style is very fun and laid back. I give you prompts, not poses, so you feel like you're just basically hanging out and there just happens to be someone there with a camera.

My biggest advice to feeling comfortable in front of the camera is to BE comfortable. Wear something you love and you know you look good in. Bring your guitar, bring a bottle of champagne, bring your dog! The more you feel like you, the more you'll look like you. Leave the rest up to me! I promise I'll tell you what to do with your hands.

We’re really awkward in front of the camera and we’re worried we won’t look good. Are we fu*ked?

"When my friend told me to find a wedding photographer that 'fit my aesthetics', I had no clue what she was talking about... that is, until I stumbled upon Clarisse’s photos. I scrolled on Instagram and all the photos I liked were her’s, that’s how I knew she was 'The One.' Her laid-back personality was easy to be around, like she was someone that could easily be in my friend groups. Her work is spot on, I love the vibrant colors on her edit and the genuine shots that she captured. Our wedding photos and video turned out beautiful and I’m so happy with the investment we made with her! If future occasions arise for other portraits or sessions, I hope we’ll be lucky enough to book her again!"
