San Diego Micro Wedding in Solana Beach, CA

Carolyne & Seena’s beautiful San Diego micro wedding at Carolyne’s parents home in Solana Beach was STUNNING. They chose 2/22/22 as their wedding date because of how fun it is and I couldn’t agree more. Carolyne’s parents have a beautiful home in Solana Beach which was perfect for this micro wedding!

Although Carolyne & Seena’s ceremony was moved inside because of a little bit of rain, one of the advantages of having a micro wedding in San Diego is the weather. San Diego has one of the best climates in the world! It is (usually) sunny with mild temperatures throughout the year. This makes it an ideal location for an outdoor micro wedding, whether it’s on the beach, in a garden, or on a rooftop. We were able to head outside for some family photos and portraits of Carolyne & Seena, and the reception was held inside a tent in the backyard, so the rain didn’t have too much of an impact on their wedding day.

Micro weddings, which are intimate weddings with fewer than 50 guests, have become increasingly popular in recent years. San Diego is the perfect destination for couples looking to have a beautiful and unforgettable micro wedding. It offers a stunning backdrop of beaches, parks, gardens, and picturesque venues that are perfect for a small wedding.

One of the best things about having a micro wedding is the ability to focus on the details that matter the most to the couple. With a smaller guest list, couples can focus on creating a more personalized and intimate experience for their guests. This can include personalized vows, unique décor, or a special menu that reflects the couple’s personalities and tastes.

I love documenting weddings of all sizes! Micro weddings are great because of their intimacy due to a smaller guest count. Here are a few other micro weddings I’ve shot: https://clarisserae.com/tag/micro-wedding/
