I’ve been wanting to expand my San Diego engagement photos locations list, so a few months ago I put out a model call for couples wanting photos done! I really wanted to take some romantic engagement photos here in San Diego, so I was stoked when my friend Alicia from college responded saying she and her fiancé Ben (who is an actor, btw!!) were down. They came all the way down from LA (3 hours in the car thank you guys wow) and we traipsed around this beautiful location for a bit as the sun went down. I love blue hour – the short 20-30 minutes right after golden hour. I love the soft, ethereal light it produces and how romantic it feels. Alicia & Ben nailed these romantic San Diego engagement photos!
I love taking photos that feel genuinely you. My approach is true to you, but elevated. Think editorial (magazine) and documentary style (candid) mixed together. I like to approach my sessions with the mindset that you’ll be hanging these photos in your house, displaying them on your desk, and having them as your phone background. I want your photos to feel like YOU.
