When Jesse reached out about proposing to her girlfriend Michelle at the beach in front of Hotel Del in Coronado, CA, I was INSTANTLY excited. Not just because I’m also a queer person who is engaged, but because she clearly put so much thought into the proposal and was SO stoked about it. Jesse hired an event planner (Events Inspired – Stephanie & Julia were amazing!), a BEAUTIFUL picnic setup (Dolce Picnics – absolutely stunning. We were all gawking!!!), AND a private musician who showed up later for their private dinner (https://www.mikesilvestrimusic.com/). Talk about going all out! Jesse killed it.
Now onto the proposal story! Jesse planned for her and Michelle to take a walk around Hotel Del, just like they did early on while dating. They enjoyed the sun going down while walking towards the beach, where Michelle pointed out a cute proposal setup. As Jesse lead her toward it, she suddenly realized it was for her! Jesse read a beautiful letter and got down on one knee, proposing with a ring her grandmother gave to her to propose to Michelle with (so sweet). We popped champagne and took so many fun pics! Then, another surprise! Their closest friends and some family joined to congratulate them and enjoy a private beach dinner with some live music. Truly a memorable experience!!
