OMG you guys. I’m sooooo so so beyond obsessed with this wedding. A little backstory: I came across the Valentine DTLA wedding venue in Los Angeles one day and instantly fell in love with it. I told myself I HAD to shoot a wedding there soon and basically manifested for the first time (lol). A few days later, I got an inquiry for Valentine DTLA from Mel & Drew! We hopped on a FaceTime call for like an hour, and about 5 minutes after we hung up, Mel texted me and said they didn’t need any time to think and they wanted to book me for their wedding! I was SO HAPPY. I love Los Angeles weddings. Predominantly being an Orange County wedding photographer, I don’t shoot as many Los Angeles weddings as I’d like to, so when I do, I’m REALLY stoked on them.
Valentine DTLA in Downtown Los Angeles is one of my favorite wedding venues in Southern California! It has room for lots of guests (as you’ll see with Mel & Drew’s wedding) and the decor is AMAZING. I LOVE plants, and there is an entire wall of the most lush, green plants right in the ceremony space. Obsessed. There’s also a really beautiful pink and green tropical-themed mural in the ceremony area! Valentine DTLA is a very beautifully designed venue in downtown Los Angeles. Lots of thought and care went into the design – and it shows! There are a few wedding venues in Los Angeles that have cool decor, but Valentine DTLA takes the cake! I really hope I’m able to shoot another Valentine DTLA wedding again soon!
