This wedding at the 1909 in Los Angeles, CA was BEAUTIFUL! Michelle & Stephen planned their wedding to be on the summer solstice because it’s the longest day of the year. I lovedddd that little fact. Michelle put so much thought into every single detail of their wedding because she wanted the details to be special and related to her & Stephen’s relationship! So so cute. They’re avid travelers, so a lot of the decor was travel related.
The 1909 is a GREAT venue. It’s secluded in the mountains above Malibu and really has a great private, intimate vibe. This is one of my favorite wedding venues in Southern California because of the intimacy the location offers. It’s also fairly large, so you can definitely have a lot of guests if that’s your thing! Michelle & Stephen’s wedding was mid-sized, and the venue had PLENTY of room for everyone to hang out and have a great time. The entire day went sooo smooth and was really such a blast! Enjoy!
