Martina & Niko
Mission San Buenaventura, Ventura, CA
Oh mannnn. What. A. Gorgeous. Day. Martina & Niko are probably one of the coolest couples ever. Killer style and even better personalities. Their wedding was a TOTAL blast and had elements of their style throughout. Bright colors, cool decor, and tons of fun and dancing sums up their day. I honestly had never been to Ventura before and really didn’t know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by this sleepy little surf town. I realllyyy dig the old school, vintage feel it has going on, and apparently the thrift stores are pretty damn good. The Mission San Buenaventura is a small but gorgeous church. Suuuper high ceilings, gold embellishments, and an AMAZING decor piece on the wall behind the altar. Paired with Martina’s STUNNING dress – that she designed by herself, by the way – everything about the day was just beautiful.
After the ceremony, we walked to the San Buenaventura City Hall for some pics and LEMME TELL YA, these are some damn good pics. Not even because of me either (well, kinda because I took them, but not 100% because of me); the COLORS of the bridesmaid’s dresses and groomsmen’s bowties played off of the ivory of the building and walls and just looked AMAZING. Ahhh seriously I was so stoked when I saw it all together. See for yourself!
SERIOUSLY GUYS THESE COLORS!!! I’m dead and buried
“If you keep talkin like a bitch, I’m gonna slap you like a bitch!” – Mr. Blonde (Reservoir Dogs quote come on guys just humor me)
Then Martina and her dad had the BEST father/daughter dance I’ve ever seen. Major Pulp Fiction vibes (I have a thing for Tarantino films okay leave me alone!)
