OKAYYYYY. Wow. SO so so beyond stoked to F I N A L L Y get to share this San Francisco City Hall wedding!
The best word to describe Hanna & Brian’s relationship is spontaneous. Why? Three months after they started dating, they moved in together. A few months later, they got a puppy (Penelope UGH she’s so cute and I was the first person to meet her other than H & B because we went to college together hehehe). After graduation, they moved to Sacramento (where Hanna is from), bought a house, and got engaged all within about two years. Then, they kind of put a halt on wedding planning because they just didn’t feel like it was very them.
About a year and half went by with no wedding plans set in stone when Hanna was walking down a street in San Francisco and saw the outfit in a bridal store window. What is this outfit, you might ask? A GORGEOUS jumpsuit by Rime Arodaky. She tried it on – perfect fit. Bought it off the rack, called Brian and said, “I just found what I want to get married in. What if we just got married now?” He was all for it. They told their immediate families, and set a date. November 13th at San Francisco City Hall. She texted me wanting to chat, and I was like “YAY finally they’re going to ask me to shoot their wedding!” – which, they did, but I was NOT expecting her to say it was a surprise and I couldn’t tell anybody until they did their grand reveal. I was 100% and booked my flight and hotel immediately.
They legit had 13 people there. Their parents, grandparents, and siblings. Sooo so intimate, and absolutely perfect. They rented out a literal MANSION about 45 minutes outside of the city in the mountains for everyone to stay for the week and to get ready for the wedding. Everything was perfect, spontaneous, and VERY Hanna & Brian. ENJOY!
