Nate & Dustin love all things Disney, so of course they had to get married at Disneyland! They live in Oregon but decided to have their wedding in Southern California at the Disneyland Hotel with all their friends and family. Nate & Dustin have been together for 18 years! They met as teenagers when Nate was working at Subway and Dustin left a note on his car. The rest is history! I was so stoked when they reached out. I had been wanting to photograph a wedding at Disneyland, and queer love is my favorite, so this was a double whammy for me.
When it comes to celebrating love, what better place to do so than the enchanting world of Disneyland? Nate and Dustin, avid Disney fans, decided to make their dreams come true by having their wedding at Disneyland’s Grand Californian Hotel. This delightful affair combined their love for each other with their passion for all things Disney, resulting in a truly memorable and magical wedding day.
Nestled within the heart of the Disneyland Resort, the Grand Californian Hotel provided the perfect backdrop for Nate and Dustin’s wedding. With its picturesque architecture and charming ambiance, this luxurious venue offered an exquisite blend of elegance and Disney whimsy. Every corner of the hotel exuded enchantment, creating an atmosphere of pure joy and romance.
For their special day, Nate and Dustin decided to dress to impress. They donned matching navy blue suits from Indochino Indochino with “I love you, bitch” embroidered inside that perfectly complemented their fun yet sophisticated style. They both sported black velvet loafers and black bowties. Their attire was a true reflection of their love for both timeless elegance and the magic of Disney.
As the couple exchanged vows and sealed their commitment with a kiss, the air was filled with excitement. To make their wedding even more unforgettable, the mischievous Chip and Dale characters made a surprise appearance during the cake cutting ceremony. Their presence added an extra dose of joy and laughter to the festivities, making it an extraordinary moment for everyone in attendance.
Nate and Dustin opted for a daytime wedding, embracing the cheerful and vibrant atmosphere that Disneyland exudes during the daylight hours. The sunlit surroundings enhanced the couple’s radiant smiles, and the happiness shared between them was palpable. From the moment they walked down the aisle to the cheers of their loved ones, the wedding exuded an aura of warmth and love.
One of the couple’s dreams was to capture a photo with the iconic Disneyland Monorail passing by. Throughout the day, they patiently awaited the ideal moment, hoping to seize this unique opportunity. However, fate had its own plans. Just as Nate and Dustin were walking up the aisle, hand in hand after saying their heartfelt “I do’s,” the Monorail glided gracefully behind them, granting them the perfect shot they had been longing for. It was a magical coincidence that beautifully encapsulated their love story.
Nate and Dustin’s wedding at Disneyland’s Grand Californian Hotel was an enchanting celebration that will be etched in their hearts forever. From their matching navy blue suits to the surprise appearance of Chip and Dale, every aspect of the day was infused with love, joy, and the unmistakable Disney magic. This daytime wedding not only brought together their shared love for each other but also their shared love for all things Disney.
As Nate and Dustin embarked on their journey as a married couple, their wedding at Disneyland served as a reminder of the enduring power of love and the beauty of dreams come true.
